3D Scanning as a Reverse Engineering Tool at the Student Design Bureau
In recent years, 3D scanning technologies have been increasingly used in both manufacturing and in the educational process for engineering disciplines. Students passionate about computer-aided design are actively studying these innovative methods, which opens up new technological horizons for them.
Members of the Student Design Bureau at the Faculty of Technical Service in the Agro-Industrial Complex are also actively studying modern reverse engineering technologies. The students are learning to use 3D scanners that can create precise digital models of physical objects which is an invaluable tool for future engineers.
The reverse engineering process, in turn, involves analyzing these models for further improvement or reconstruction. For the students, 3D scanners are not just instruments but gateways to modern, digitally-driven technology where digitalization plays a key role.
