Specialist Programs

Specialist's study programs are one of the higher education levels in Russia, combining features of Bachelor and Master studies. Specialist training includes fundamental and extended training in the particular field.  Upon completion students are awarded the qualification of “Specialist.”
Applicants who have completed general secondary education, vocational secondary education or higher education are eligible to apply for Specialist studies.

Total workload of educational program for specialists is 300 Russian credit units (360 ECTS).
Full-time training to get Specialist degree takes 5 years. This includes holidays that come after passing final exams. If a student chooses a part-time or a mixed part- and full-time course, training lasts for 6 to 12 months more.
