Admission rules to the preparatory faculty

To be considered for admission to the preparatory department, a foreign applicant must complete an online application by the link https://forms.gle/ixjE2UskHmQaKJiR8 and send scanned copies of their previously received education certificates with transcript and a scanned copy of their passport with all pages with visas and entry and exit stamps (if any) to the International Cooperation Department at mezhd.otd@omgau.org. Legal regulations for foreign students in Russia

International students are required to comply with Russian Federation law. The International Cooperation Department has created a set of guidelines for international students, which outlines the rules and procedures for ensuring the legal stay of international students on the territory of the Russian Federation. The guidelines are available in the "Documents" section.

Moving around

Carry your passport, student card and this memo when moving around the city and campus. Ask law enforcement officers for help or call the International Cooperation Department if needed. Omsk is a big city and you can easily get lost, especially in the beginning.

Public transport

Omsk SAU is located in a picturesque area. The closest bus stop is “Teletsentr”. Bus/trolleybus fare: 45 RUB. Collective taxi: 45 RUB. Regular taxi cost depends on distance.

The nearest food stores are located on the Omsk SAU campus. There you can buy manufactured goods too. There are many shops and department stores in the city centre.

You can exchange currency or open a bank account at any branch. Compare exchange rates and account terms. Do not keep large amounts of cash in the dormitory.

Medical service is provided under voluntary medical insurance (paid). Nearest polyclinics: 7a Sibakovskaya St.; 3 Karla Libknehta St. Dental services are available in specialized clinics across the city.

In emergencies, dial 03 (free call). Please inform the International Cooperation Department.
