Students from Omsk schools, lyceums and gymnasiums (grades 8-9) completed a month-long summer internship in the laboratory of PJSC ONHP, and under the guidance of mentors they carried out research projects with a physical and mathematical focus on creating and researching working models of various sensors that can later be used in modern production. The work in preparing and defending projects was a team effort, where each team member had their own role.
The defense of the projects was evaluated by a competent jury, which included teachers and staff of various Omsk universities with technical specialties. From Omsk State Agrarian University, the acting head of the Department of Geodesy and Remote Sensing, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor Garagul Alexander Sergeevich, was invited to the jury.
The jury members asked questions that helped the students discover themselves and show the significance of their research, and the trainees, in turn, answered them with confidence. In conclusion, all the members of the jury expressed positive feedback from participating in this event, wished the children further development in the engineering field and invited them to enter Omsk universities.
We would like to express our deep gratitude to the management of ONHP PJSC for their cooperation, as well as their participation in fostering and developing students' interest in engineering at schools, lyceums and gymnasiums!
