As part of preparing future specialists for successful adaptation in the labor market, the presentations covered the main areas of the Career Center’s work and participation in key projects, including:
- “Unified Center for Recording and Processing Employment Data of Students and Graduates of Agrarian Universities” on the platform of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation;
- “Assessment and Development of Managerial Competencies in Russian Educational Organizations” on the “Russia – Land of Opportunities” platform;
- “Golden Personnel Reserve”, implemented on the digital platform “I am in Agro,” under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.
Special attention was given to events attended by students throughout the academic year, as well as to the professional competencies they are expected to develop.
During their first year of study, students:
- get acquainted with the university, staff, and faculty;
- identify areas of professional interest;
- participate in career-related events;
- create a resume on the digital career platform “Facultetus”.
The presentations also addressed the following issues:
- interaction between students and university staff responsible for graduate employment within specific programs and specializations;
- opportunities provided by the university for career development (internships and best practices, meetings with leading experts from agro-industrial enterprises, available job openings, and more).
Particular emphasis was placed on contact information for communication with the staff of the Career Guidance and Employment Center, as well as with those responsible for graduate employment. The Career Center’s official webpage was presented (trud.otd@omgau.org). Participants were also invited to subscribe to the Career Center’s groups on VK and Telegram.
