An employee of Omsk State Agrarian University took part in specialized accreditation of educational programs of universities of Kazakhstan

On December 4-5, the Central Asian Association for Education Accreditation (CAAAE) conducted specialized accreditation of educational programs at the Toraigyrov University of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Pavlodar).

For the second year in a row, Shoikin Olzhas Dauletzhanovich, Associate Professor of the Department of Agrochemistry and Soil Science, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Omsk State Agrarian University, was involved as one of the independent international experts of the external expert commission.

The expert commission consisted of independent representatives of various institutions: L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Kazakh National Agrarian Research University, Shakarim Semey University, Pavlodar Pedagogical University named after Elkey Margulan, Omsk State Agrarian University named after P.A. Stolypin, Techtorgsnab LLP and the Central Asian Association for Accreditation of Education (CAAAE).  

The work of the expert commission took place within 2 days. On December 4, a meeting was held with the university's management, where the main ideas and achievements of the Toraigyrov University as one of the largest educational institutions of higher education in the Pavlodar region and in the Republic of Kazakhstan were briefly outlined. On the first day, the work of the expert commission focused on studying issues of leadership and management, evaluating the organization of educational and methodological work, student support and educational work systems, research activities, international cooperation, studying documentation on financial planning and financial reporting, assessing the compliance of educational programs with accreditation standards. The day ended with a meeting of experts on the events held regarding accreditation issues.

On December 5, the commission continued to work with the requested documents at the departments of educational programs. Each expert in the program's profile attended the exams according to the schedule. On the second day, the expert commission visited the social partners (visiting the practice base) Toraigyrov University: Pavlodar Regional Territorial Inspectorate of the Committee of State Inspection in the Agro-industrial complex of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, branch of the National Center of Expertise in Pavlodar region, Regional Universal Scientific Library named after S. Toraigyrova, Institute of Advanced Training of teachers "Orleu", LLP "Neftekhim Company LTD".

After the field event, experts conducted interviews with teachers, students, graduates, and employers. At the end of the day, the experts summed up the results of the working committee and began planning the preparation of a draft report.

During the work, the commission actively interacted with the deans of faculties and heads of departments of accredited university programs, the head of the Office of Strategy and Quality Management system, the director of the International Office, the director of the IT-HUB. As a result of the commission's work, 4 educational programs were accredited for a period of 3-5 years.
