Briefing of Students with Employers "Preparing Personnel Together"

On November 13, a briefing was held for UKAB (University College of Agribusiness) students studying the specialties of Professionalism 35.02.16 Operation and Repair of Agricultural Machinery and Equipment and 36.02.01 Veterinary Medicine with the employer "Preparing Personnel Together."

The briefing addressed issues of practical training and employment of graduates. The director of the college, Anatoly Pavlovich Shevchenko, addressed the briefing participants with a welcoming speech.

The employer was represented by LLC "RUSKOM-Agro," one of the companies of the largest agro-industrial holding RUSKOM. The RUSKOM Group implemented a unique closed-cycle agricultural project for Western Siberia, starting from crop and feed production to the release and sale of products.

Natalia Aleksandrovna Vetrova, Head of Human Resources at RUSKOM-Agro LLC, presented a short video about the company and answered questions about its structure, geography, and areas of activity, career advancement opportunities, and employee benefits. Students demonstrated professional knowledge by answering blitz questions.

The briefing was facilitated by faculty members Natalia Alekseevna Paglazova, Yana Evgenyevna Chikarina, and Elena Anatolyevna Kuts. Olga Viktorovna Alekhina, a lecturer in the Department of Biotechnology and Law, served as the moderator.

All those present in the hall were united by a common question—the future of professions and professional training of personnel. Enterprises want to get a first-class worker, students want prestigious and well-paid jobs, and the college, represented by its teachers, seeks answers to the questions of how to prepare a worker for a future profession so that they are desired in the workplace, and therefore, can secure that job.

The event sparked genuine interest among the students and a desire to try themselves as specialists in the presented production.
