Business Visit of First Deputy Chairman of the Omsk Regional Government R.R. Mingazov to Omsk SAU

On February 6, the agrarian university was visited by Rustam Ramilevich Mingazov, the First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Omsk Region

The university administration, headed by Rector Oksana Viktorovna Shumakova, conducted a tour of the world-class grain quality assessment laboratory. This is the only laboratory in Russia specifically designed for researching the unique properties of grain crops. The laboratory's equipment and scope of work demonstrate a complete innovation cycle – from the process of creating new varieties using advanced genomic technologies to producing bakery products with unique functional properties.

The First Deputy Chairman of the Omsk Regional Government also visited the educational-production cluster created under the federal "Professionalitet" (Professionals) program. He inspected specialized classrooms for agricultural machinery, for high-power machinery from the Minsk Tractor Plant, and a specialized classroom for grain harvesters and forage harvesting equipment.

Special attention was paid to the main building: the historical milestones of the establishment and development of Omsk SAU in the Museum of History, the organization of the admissions committee's work, and the educational process as a whole.
