Ecological Expedition

On September 20, the Agrarian University hosted a traditional Ecological Expedition. This image event of the Omsk State Agrarian University and the Omsk Regional Public Environmental Organization (ORPEO) "Earth - our common home" has been held for the 13th year.

At the same time, a planned clean-up event was timed to coincide with this event. According to the tradition that has developed in recent years, the Omsk branch of the All-Russian Public Organization of Environmental Volunteers "Do It!" ("Delai!"), as well as the Movement of the First in the Omsk region, have become co-organizers of the action. More than 100 people took part in the event.

The ecological event took place within the framework of the School of Ecologist project, supported by the Ministry of Internal Policy of the Omsk Region and the Presidential Grants Fund (the project organizer is "Earth - Our Common Home", the head of the organization is professor Popolzukhina N.A.). Omsk SAU and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Omsk Region acted as social partners of the Project.

Andrey Ivanovich Zabudsky, Vice-rector for Social Work and Youth Policy, opened the event, congratulated on the start of the ecological expedition and wished fruitful work.

The participants of the event were welcomed by: Nina Alekseevna Popolzukhina, Chairman of the NGO "Earth - our Common Home", Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor; Samat Aitkalievich Mukanov, Deputy Chairman of the Council for Project Activities of the Movement of the First in the Omsk region, and Olga Vladimirovna Drofa, Head of the Department of Ecology, Environmental Management and Biology.

Elena Anatolyevna Romanovich, Director of the Center for Social and Educational Work and Youth Policy of the Omsk State Agrarian University, handed the participants the itinerary. And in order for everyone to have fun cleaning the territory, the guys under the guidance of Irina Vladimirovna Terekhina, senior lecturer at the Department of Physical Education and Sports, performed a wonderful warm-up.

The site of the "landing" was: the territory of the road from the bus stop to the 1st academic building, the Botanical Garden, the Garden of Memory, Kohomsky Passage, Fizkulturnaya and Gornaya streets. All participants did a great job, collecting a huge amount of garbage and preparing the territory for winter.

The beautiful autumn weather also favored everyone who wanted to make their home cleaner. And after the work done, there will be a summing up, presentation of certificates and pleasant communication over hot tea with fragrant buns!
