Educational programs of Omsk State Agrarian University received professional-public accreditation and a badge of excellence.

From May 19 to May 21, 2020, an external examination of two educational program clusters of the Omsk State Agrarian University took place

External examination of the cluster of educational programs in the training areas of "Zootechny", (36.03.02, 36.04.02), "Veterinary and sanitary examination" (36.03.01, 36.04.01), "Veterinary science" (36.05.01), as well as "Agricultural chemistry and agro-soil science" (35.03.03, 35.04.03), "Agronomy" (35.03.04, 35.04.04), "Gardening" (35.03.05, 35.04.05), "Agricultural engineering" (35.03.06, 35.04.06), "Forestry" (35.03.01), implemented by the FSBEI HE “Omsk State Agrarian University named after P. A. Stolypin”, included the analysis of the report on self-examination and examination of Omsk SAU by an external expert commission.

The main purpose of the external examination was to assess how the accredited cluster of educational programs corresponds to the standards and criteria for professional-public accreditation, developed by the National Center of Professional-Public Accreditation and introduced in accordance with the European Standards for Quality Assurance of Education ESG-ENQA.

During the visit, the Commission held a number of online meetings and interviews: with the University administration members, deans of faculties, heads of departments, teachers, students, graduates, representatives of the professional community.

The Commission noted the effective interaction of experts with the staff of the National Accreditation Center during the preparation and implementation of the examination at the University, as well as a very high level of organizational training and ensuring constructive work.

Based on the analysis of the submitted documents, information and oral evidences, the external expert commission concluded that the cluster of educational programs in the training areas of "Zootechny", "Veterinary and sanitary examination", "Veterinary medicine", as well as in the areas of "Agricultural chemistry and agro-soil science", "Agronomy", "Gardening", "Agricultural engineering", "Forestry"fully meets the standards and accreditation criteria of the National Accreditation Center.

The expert Commission recommends the National Accreditation Council to accredit the cluster of educational programs in the following training areas: " Zootechny", "Veterinary and sanitary examination", "Veterinary medicine", "Agricultural chemistry and agro-soil science", "Agronomy", "Gardening", "Agricultural engineering", and "Forestry", implemented by the Omsk State Agrarian University named after P. A. Stolypin, for a period of six years.

In addition, "EXCELLENT QUALITY" badge is awarded, which confirms the high quality of educational programs accredited in accordance with the European Standards for Quality Assurance of Education ESG-ENQA and the requirements of professional standards and the labor market. 

According to the results of professional-public accreditation, the educational programs were awarded a rating of "3 stars". “3 stars” are awarded to the cluster of educational programs that have passed professional- public (national) accreditation.
