Cycle of Meetings with Employer Representatives
On November 5, a meeting was held at the Department of Diagnostics, Internal Non-Communicable Diseases, Pharmacology, Obstetrics and Surgery for fifth-year students majoring in "Veterinary Medicine" with Larisa Valeryevna Antoshina, a representative of the State Budgetary Institution "District Veterinary Center" in Salekhard. She spoke about the structure of the organization, the specifics of the work, salaries, available vacancies, career growth prospects, and support programs for young specialists.
On November 7, fourth-year students majoring in "Operation of Transport and Technological Machines and Complexes" visited the automotive complex "Reaktor". The excursion was conducted by the company's representative, Margarita Alexandrovna Martynova. Students were shown the client waiting area with repair sections displayed on a screen. During the tour, students visited workshops such as "Engine Repair", "Body Repair", "Oil Change", "Auto Electrics and Diagnostics" as well as "Tire Service" and "Car Wash". At the end of the meeting, Margarita Alexandrovna informed them about internship and apprenticeship opportunities and shared her experiences of going through interviews with potential employees.
On November 15, third-year students majoring in "Land Management and Cadastre" met with Kristina Andreevna Myakisheva, a graduate of the Land Management Faculty from 2016. She shared that after graduating from the Land Management Faculty, she was offered a job at the Cadastre Chamber of the Kormilovsky Municipal District in the Omsk Oblast. It was challenging, but thanks to the knowledge gained at the university, she easily adapted to her work. Currently, having obtained a law degree, she works in the administration of the Kalachinsky District as a land relations specialist and lawyer in land management while continuing her studies in a master's program at Omsk State Agrarian University.
On November 26, fourth-year students majoring in "Agroengineering" met with representatives from JSC "Semirechenskaya Supply Base". The organization was represented by service engineers Alexander Igorevich Roledor and Ruslan Kairzhanovich Tyulebaev. JSC "Semirechenskaya Supply Base" is an official dealer of the company "Rostselmash" in Omsk and the Omsk region. The company is among the largest developers and manufacturers of specialized machinery. Alexander Igorevich and Ruslan Kairzhanovich discussed employment opportunities and internships at the company, shared their work experiences, and provided recommendations for successfully passing interviews with employers.
Events within the Framework of Cooperation between Omsk SAU and the Regional Career Guidance Center
The events were conducted by Tatyana Alexandrovna Kez, the chief specialist of the Professional Competence Assessment and Professional Adaptation Department at the Regional Career Guidance Center.
On November 7, for fourth-year students majoring in "Ecology and Natural Resource Management," Tatyana Alexandrovna held a workshop titled "The Power of Calm" aimed at teaching self-regulation skills and techniques in stressful situations. Tatyana Alexandrovna engaged students in a discussion, explaining that three factors influence success in any exams and defenses of graduation theses: cognitive, motivational, and emotional—the ability to withstand a tense psycho-emotional marathon. The specialist noted that success in an exam depends 50% on how well a person can manage their anxiety and emotions.
On November 11, Tatyana Alexandrovna conducted a psychological and career guidance event titled "On the Path to a Career" for fourth-year students majoring in Management at the Department of Management and Marketing of the Faculty of Economics. The goal of the session was to emphasize the personal qualities necessary for making informed decisions. Various methods were used during the session, including interactive exercises and discussions about the psychological foundations of decision-making.
On November 12, a group activity titled "Development. Growth. Success" (a professional quiz) took place with first-year students majoring in "Land Management and Cadastre." The students participated in the quiz, demonstrating teamwork within the groups formed for the duration of the game, which was the main objective of the event.
