Faculty Completes Training Program in the Profession “Plumber, Grade 3” under the Russian Student Brigades Grant

Members of the student construction team “HYDRO” successfully passed the final qualifying exam upon completion of training in the working profession “Plumber, Grade 3”, carried out within the framework of a grant for the professional training of student brigade participants.

The training became possible thanks to the implementation of the Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 876 of June 9, 2021 “On the Approval of the Rules for Providing Grants in the Form of Subsidies from the Federal Budget to Finance Activities for Granting Free Training under Basic Professional Programs to Members of Student Brigades in Working Professions and Occupations Necessary for Their Labor Activities within Such Brigades.”

During the training, students studied the following courses: Introduction to Professional Activity, Occupational Safety in Sanitary Engineering Work, Fundamentals of Hydraulics and Heat Engineering, Materials Science, Design of Building Sanitary Systems and Equipment, Fundamentals of Metalwork, Installation of Sanitary Devices, Operation of Sanitary Systems, Malfunctions in Sanitary Systems and Their Elimination, Repair of Pipelines and Fittings.

The examination board, which included Pavel Mikhailovich Shulenkov, Site Manager of Our Home LLC Management Company, Housing Maintenance Office No. 1; Pavel Pavlovich Glazkov, Water Supply and Sewerage Engineer at Architectural Workshop AMA LLC; Julia Vladimirovna Korchevskaya, Head of the Department of Environmental Management, Water Use, and Water Resources Protection; and Valentina Vladimirovna Popova, assessed not only the theoretical knowledge acquired during training but also the practical skills demonstrated by the students during the exam.
