Faculty Hosts Methodological Seminar on Organizing International Mobility for Academic Staff to Enhance the Educational Environment

On January 24th, the Faculty of Land Management hosted a methodological seminar on "Organizing International Mobility for Academic Staff and its Impact on the Development of the Educational Environment".

The seminar welcomed distinguished guests: Galina Aleksandrovna Gorelkina, Head of the Methodological Department of the Omsk SAU Educational and Methodological Office, and Tatyana Alekseevna Stavrova, Deputy Head of the same office.

The event was opened by the Dean of the Land Management Faculty and a PhD in Economics, Olga Nikolaevna Dolmatova.  She welcomed all attendees and spoke about the potential for collaboration with colleagues from the event was opened by Olga Nikolaevna Dolmatova, the Dean of the Faculty of Land Management and a PhD in Economics. Saule Kazhapovna Makenova, Ph.D., Associate Professor, and Head of the Department of Land Management at S. Seifullin Kazakh Agro-Technical Research University in Astana, Kazakhstan, shared her experience with implementing dual-degree master's programs in various relevant and in-demand specializations. 

She explained that the goal of the project is the coordinated training of highly qualified specialists based on a harmonized educational program with a partner university. She emphasized that this approach undoubtedly promotes interstate integration, enhances employment opportunities for graduates, and improves their mobility in terms of professional training and foreign language skills. 

Olesya Sergeevna Muzyka, Senior Lecturer at the "Cadastre" Department of KATRU (Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan), spoke about the advantages of international credit mobility as a program that allows students and faculty from higher education institutions to undertake short-term internships outside the European Union.

Yury Mikhailovich Rogatnev, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor at the Department of Land Management at Omsk SAU, delivered a report on the organization of research work within the master's program in Land Management and Cadastres (21.04.02). He examined the professional field of the program's graduates in the context of the department's research topic: "Ensuring Sustainable and Efficient Agricultural Production by Improving the System of Land Resources and Land Relations."

Natalya Aleksandrovna Parkhomenko, PhD in Agricultural Sciences and Associate Professor at the Department of Geodesy and Remote Sensing at Omsk SAU, outlined priority areas in geodetic activities, using modern technologies. She emphasized the importance of applying BIM technologies into the training of master's students pursuing.

In the final part of the seminar, the results were summarized regarding the development of international activities between universities in the CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States) and foreign countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, where mobility is becoming a stimulus for the quality of education.
