Launch of the Project "The Strength of Traditions of the Peoples of the Omsk Irtysh Region"

Omsk State Agrarian University has launched the project "The Strength of Traditions of the Peoples of the Omsk Irtysh Region," supported by a “Rosmolodezh.Grants award”.

Last October, the International Youth Forum for Interethnic Accord UNITING_WE_STRENGTHEN was held in the Omsk Region, bringing together people interested in interethnic relations (interethnic policy) and ready to develop in this field.

As part of the forum, the "Rosmolodezh.Grants" competition for individuals was held, where participants could receive funding to implement their initiatives. One of the winners was Anna Romanovna Kononenko, the advisor for the Student Palace of Culture's student leaders, who received 800,000 rubles to support her project.

On January 14, "The Strength of Traditions of the Peoples of the Omsk Irtysh Region" project's kick-off meeting was held. During the meeting, the team discussed the primary objectives, formed a group of like-minded individuals, and defined the project's implementation stages.

The project will include a series of cultural and educational events, interactive activities, master classes, and a festival for participants aged 7 to 25. Additionally, roles and responsibilities for the project implementation were assigned among the participants.

The project is being implemented with grant support from the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh).
