Meeting of the University's Board of Trustees

On January 21, an extended meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Omsk State Agrarian University named after P.A. Stolypin was held. The meeting was attended by the regional Minister of Agriculture, Food and Processing Industry, Nikolai Valentinovich Drofa.

The Board was established to consolidate the organizational, financial, intellectual, and other resources of the university and the members of the Board for implementing the university's development strategy and forming an effective model of a leading agricultural university with modern agricultural education.

The meeting was opened by Oksana Viktorovna Shumakova, the Rector of Omsk SAU, Professor, Doctor of Economic Sciences.

The first item on the agenda concerned the use of financial support and charitable donations for the modernization of the educational, scientific, and social infrastructure of Omsk SAU. The Rector provided a detailed report, explaining that all funds received during the reporting period were allocated to the renovation and equipping of specialized classrooms, academic buildings, and student dormitories, as well as the purchase of equipment and furniture.

It is worth mentioning that Omsk SAU not only attracts funding from its trustees for infrastructure development but also actively participates in grant competitions. The university's reliable partners, to whom the Rector expressed her gratitude, also help Omsk SAU maintain its status as one of the country's leading agricultural institutions and keep up with the times.

Another issue discussed at the meeting was Omsk SAU's participation in the federal project "Personnel for the Agro-Industrial Complex" under the national project "Technological Support for Food Security," which provides for subsidies from the federal budget.
