Omsk SAU Associate Professor Awarded Governor's Prize for Young Scientists

Tatyana Vladimirovna Marakaeva, an Associate Professor at the Department of Agronomy, Plant Breeding, and Seed Production of the Agrotechnological Faculty, has received the Omsk Region Governor's Youth Prize for the encouragement of young scientists. On December 27, the traditional regional prize for the encouragement of young scientists was presented at the Government of the Omsk Region.

This year, 52 people submitted their applications for selection, following which the best scientists were awarded. The awards were presented to the laureates by Ivan Kolesnik, the Deputy Chairman of the Omsk Region Government.

The Omsk Region Government Youth Prize for the encouragement of young scientists is awarded in accordance with Government Decree of January 13, 2010, No. 1-p "On the Establishment of the Omsk Region Government Youth Prize for the Encouragement of Young Scientists." The prize money is 100,000 rubles.

The prize is awarded to support young scientists, encourage their participation in innovative activities, and create favorable conditions for new scientific discoveries and innovative achievements in the Omsk Region.

The best scientists of the year included: Kirill Domanov, Ph.D. in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor at the Department of Electric Railway Rolling Stock, Omsk State Transport University (OSTU); Tatyana Marakaeva, Ph.D. in Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor at the Department of Agronomy, Plant Breeding, and Seed Production of the Agrotechnological Faculty, Omsk State Agrarian University; Alexander Nepomnyashchikh, Ph.D. in Technical Sciences, Researcher at the Center for New Chemical Technologies of the Institute of Catalysis named after G.K. Boreskov, Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Omsk Branch); Yulia Potapova, Ph.D. in Psychological Sciences, Associate Professor at the Department of General and Social Psychology, Faculty of Economics, Psychology, and Management, Omsk State University; Vyacheslav Rubtsov, Ph.D. in Medical Sciences, Associate Professor at the Department of Pathological Anatomy, Omsk State Medical University.
