On October 13, a round table debate "Solving environmental problems". The meeting was attended by 20 student volunteers interested in participating in such events. Nina Popolzukhina, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor of the Department of Ecology, Natural Resource Management and Biology, Chairman of the Council of the Omsk Regional Public Environmental Organization "Earth is our Common Home" and Korolev Alexander, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Ecology, Natural Resource Management and Biology also attended the meeting.

The project is implemented within the framework of the Agreement on the Provision of grants subsidised from the Federal budget to Russian citizens who won the All-Russian Competition of Youth Projects among Natural Persons in 2021 No. 091-11-2021-823.

Also on October 13, the first 20 project participants joined a lecture and a master class on sustainable consumption in Omsk ecological workshop "ECOLAB". Head of the workshop Andrey Gurkovsky read out the lection. #ECOLAB is a workshop, a space, and people. It is a place that promotes responsible attitude to the environment, proper management of natural resources and wastes, in particular plastic. It's possible to recycle most types of plastic using the workshop equipment, and it can also be used for creating new things.
The project will contribute to achieving sustainable development goals No. 12 (Responsible consumption and production) and 13 (Climate action) by promoting evrinonmental consciousness.
