Omsk SAU is in the top 5 agricultural universities in Green Metric ranking

According to the results of the UI GreenMetric World University Ranking–2022, Omsk State Agrarian University became one of the "greenest" universities in the world. Omsk SAU is on the 28th place among Russian universities.

In the global ranking of green universities, our university is 681st among 1050 participants from 85 countries.

Among the 52 Russian higher education institutions included in the ranking, Omsk State Agrarian University is among the five greenest agricultural universities.

Educational and scientific initiatives in the field of sustainable development (1400 points), extensive green spaces on the campus and its convenience for students and staff (840 points), waste management (975 points) and the transportation system around academic buildings, laboratories and dormitories (1100 points) were again recognized as the strengths of our university.
Green Metric is aimed at ranking HEIs according to their efforts on making sustainable campuses and creating energy-efficient management models. It is the thirteenth time when University of Indonesia compiles a list of the most environmentally-friendly universities. The ranking team seeks to draw academic community attention to the need to conduct sustainable development policies to solve environmental problems.

UI Green Metric is a unique world university ranking that measures the commitment of each participating university to the development of an environmentally friendly infrastructure. Universities' performance is evaluated according to the following indicators: location and infrastructure, energy conservation and climate change, waste management, water resources, transport policy, education and research.
