Vasily Bykov, Associate Professor, and Marina Novorodskaya, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Geodesy and Remote Sensing of the Faculty of Land Management, held a lesson “Basics of aerial photography, drawing up a survey route”. Students got acquainted with the history of aerial photography, the first aerial photographs, stereo effect, and compared the quality of survey of 1917, 1944 and 2000.
Having learned that drones are serious devices for obtaining information about the earth’s surface, students created an aerial survey route, studied forward overlap and side overlap of the images, and determined the scale of survey on the map.
Andrei Zabudskiy, Senior Lecturer, and Dmitry Vorobyov, the training specialist of the Department of Technical Service, Mechanics and Electrical Engineering of the Faculty of Technical Service of Agroindustrial Complexes held a lesson with students in robotics, electrical engineering and electronics. During the practical lesson students soldered up inoperative elements from the motherboard using a soldering station (diodes, thyristors, resistances, capacitors) and determined “burned” motherboard tracks, in sum, made a processor diagnosis and cleared faults.
At the end of the lesson, students said they wanted to launch the “Intercom” project at school. This project was supported by lecturers of the Faculty of Technical Service of Agroindustrial Complexes and the joint work has begun.
