Omsk SAU Ranked First for Most In-Demand Content in the Lan Electronic Library System and Second in the Reading Activity Ranking
The Consortium of Networked Electronic Libraries Lan electronic library system has summarized the results for 2024 and compiled the top 100 most reading universities of the Russian Federation. With a minimal gap of just 1,000 readings, Omsk SAU yielded 1st place in the number of books read to Novosibirsk SAU. At the same time, Omsk SAU topped the list of the 20 universities with the most in-demand content.
In 2024, the Consortium of Networked Electronic Libraries united the book collections of 406 educational institutions in Russia, Belarus, and Kazakhstan. As of today, the project’s holdings include more than 80,000 books. The resource is used by nearly 2.4 million students and 125,000 faculty members (source: academia.interfax.ru ). Notably, agrarian universities opened the top 100 list of the most reading universities. The most widely read publication of the university was the book Infectious Diseases of Small Domestic Animals by I. G. Alekseev, V. P. Dorofeev, and M. V. Markova. Congratulations to the authors!
