The event brought together over 30 participants, including students, activists from various public organizations, and anyone interested in cultural volunteering. The Dobro.Center of Omsk State Agrarian University served as a partner for this volunteer initiative. The intensive began with a presentation, during which participants learned about the importance of volunteers in preserving cultural heritage. Experts shared examples of successful projects implemented by volunteers.
During a practical workshop, participants gained fundamental knowledge and received guidance from an experienced tour guide mentor, Olga Anatolyevna Landik, the director of "Siberian Character" ANO. She showed them how to effectively organize tours, capture the audience, and share knowledge about cultural sites.
Special attention was given to the organization of documents stored in museum archives. Roman Sergeevich Vasilyev, a specialist from the Omsk SAU Center for Educational Work and Youth Policy, not only explained how to structure information and organize documents to make them more accessible to researchers but also gave participants the opportunity to practice and consolidate these skills.
