Omsk State Agrarian University has improved its position in the world ranking of the Internet presence of uniRank universities

A new edition of the uniRank world ranking has been published, which has been ranking universities since 2005 based on independent statistical data, rather than academic indicators.

In the current version of the rating, about 14,000 universities from all over the world were evaluated, including 371 universities in Russia. In the global ranking, Omsk State Agrarian University was in the middle of the list, rising by almost 200 places compared to last year. Among the Russian participants, he took 221st place, improving his position by more than 40 places relative to the indicators of 2023.

Among the more than 30 assessed agricultural universities in the country, Omsk State Agrarian University is in 7th position, while in 2023 the university took only 12th place. According to the rating, the Omsk SAU ranks 4th among higher educational institutions in Omsk.

To calculate the position in the ranking, a special algorithm is used based on carefully processed and collected indicators from popular web sources, such as the level of site traffic, the number of active links, the openness of the university in social networks and others. The number of unique visitors and views of the university's website from various devices is also taken into account.
