Omsk State Agrarian University held negotiations with the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Uzbekistan

The meeting took place on July 11 at the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo at the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Uzbekistan.

The purpose of the negotiations was to develop international cooperation in the field of agricultural education and increase the number of foreign students to study at Omsk State Agrarian University in the 2025/26 academic year. Andrey Ivanovich Zabudsky, Vice-Rector for Social Work and Youth Policy, and Anastasia Nikolaevna Kriklivaya, Head of the International Relations Department, held talks with Irina Vladimirovna Sulzhina, coordinator of educational programs at the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in Uzbekistan.

During the working meeting, the main areas of cooperation between the university and the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo were outlined, including the organization of joint events, assistance to foreign applicants in choosing admission paths to Omsk SAU, as well as the possibility of Omsk SAU participation in the International Exhibition Fair "Russian Education. Tashkent – 2024". The administration of Omsk State Agrarian University handed over to the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo of Uzbekistan presentation materials and booklets about the university to post information and promote the university in the Russian Center for Science and Culture among schoolchildren, college students and compatriots in Uzbekistan. In conclusion, the parties expressed confidence that cooperation would contribute to the strengthening of educational and scientific ties and the effective development of the higher education system. During the visit, the guests also got acquainted with the classes on working with applicants at the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Uzbekistan.
