The Integral Ranking of Communication Efficiency is based on the results of an annual research cycle of university rankings and represents an aggregate indicator of the effectiveness of a university’s communication strategy. It allows for a comprehensive assessment of communication efficiency with key target audiences: prospective students, current students, government agencies, business and industry representatives, as well as the media.
The integral indicator of each university is calculated as the sum (scaled to a 100-point system) of the total index values across three annual rankings:
• audience engagement on the university’s own platforms;
• representation in popular science media;
• representation in mass media and social media.
A total of 614 Russian universities were evaluated. According to the results, Omsk State Agrarian University received a total index of 7 and ranked 57th (group ranking). The university placed 13th among agrarian universities (out of 41) and 5th among Omsk universities (out of 11).
