Opening of a New Branded Specialized Classroom for Agroengineers at Omsk SAU

Today, Omsk State Agrarian University inaugurated a new branded classroom provided by Liliani, an industrial partner of the university, which has been successfully manufacturing agricultural machinery for agrologistics for 25 years.

The development of the agricultural sector largely depends on the level and conditions of training for future specialists. In this context, collaboration between businesses and higher education institutions is a necessary condition for the sustainable development of the agro-industrial complex in Russia.

Liliani produces grain bunkers and unloaders, grain packing and unloading machines, grain transfer equipment, and more. The company’s agricultural machinery is designed for use in Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus, for sowing, harvesting, storage, and transshipment of grain, legumes, oilseeds, and fertilizer handling.

The classroom No. 36 in Academic Building No. 3 (Faculty of Technical Service in the Agro-Industrial Complex) underwent a complete renovation. It is now equipped with modern furniture and a multimedia panel with internet access. In this classroom, students will acquire essential knowledge about the general structure, adjustments, and operating principles of agricultural machinery.

The ceremonial opening was attended by: Oksana Viktorovna Shumakova, Rector of Omsk State Agrarian University, Doctor of Economics, Professor; Daniil Sergeyevich Beloshitsky, Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Food and Processing Industry of the Omsk Region; Yuri Gennadievich Mirumyan, Head of the Liliani Training Center; Svetlana Yurievna Komarova, Vice-Rector for Educational Activities, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences; Ivan Nikolayevich Velichev, General Director of VelKom Holding LLC; Alexander Nikolayevich Danilchenko, Director of Sales at VelKom Holding LLC; Evgeny Vladimirovich Demchuk, Dean of the Faculty of Technical Service in the Agro-Industrial Complex, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor; as well as students and faculty members of the Faculty of Technical Service in the Agro-Industrial Complex.

In her welcome address, Rector Oksana Viktorovna Shumakova said:
"Today is truly a landmark event – the opening of a new branded classroom by Liliani, a company specializing in agricultural machinery for agrologistics. Their innovative developments will be used in our university’s educational programs to train future specialists. Our students must make the most of this ultra-modern classroom and strive for excellence."

She expressed gratitude to Liliani for their cooperation in educational and scientific activities.

Daniil Sergeyevich Beloshitsky, Deputy Minister, congratulated the university on opening the specialized classroom, noting that students will have the opportunity not only to gain theoretical knowledge of equipment and machinery but also to observe and study it in practice.

Yuri Gennadievich Mirumyan, Head of Liliani Training Center, highlighted the company’s strategic engagement with Russian agricultural universities to ensure a steady inflow of qualified specialists into the sector:
"We launched the 'Adept' project, which aims to establish agrocenters based in agricultural universities across the country, where both students and faculty will learn innovative agrologistics technologies. Omsk State Agrarian University became the eighth such center. Over time, these centers will form a network, helping young specialists enter the agro-industrial complex already equipped with the necessary competencies and innovative technologies."

Ivan Nikolayevich Velichev, General Director of VelKom Holding LLC, noted that as Liliani’s representative in the Omsk region, VelKom received the 'Breakthrough of the Year' award at the company’s dealer conference.

The honor of cutting the ceremonial red ribbon was given to Oksana Viktorovna Shumakova, Rector; Daniil Sergeyevich Beloshitsky, Deputy Minister; and Yuri Gennadievich Mirumyan.

Evgeny Vladimirovich Demchuk, Dean of the Faculty of Technical Service in the Agro-Industrial Complex, expressed gratitude for the opening of the specialized classroom and congratulated students on such a wonderful New Year’s gift.

A symbolic gesture was made when Yuri Gennadievich Mirumyan handed the key to the branded classroom to Oksana Viktorovna Shumakova.

Participants then toured the new classroom, followed by an open lecture by a representative of Liliani. Yuri Gennadievich shared that the Russian company, founded in 2000, has been developing advanced agrologistics solutions and innovative digital products for nearly 25 years, creating modern agricultural machinery to optimize sowing, harvesting, and grain storage logistics, and operates its own production facility in Salsk, Rostov Region. He also presented innovative and highly demanded grain storage and transportation technologies and equipment manufactured by Liliani.

It is noteworthy that Omsk State Agrarian University now has 41 specialized branded classrooms created in collaboration with industrial partners.

The opening of new classrooms is crucial for any agricultural university in training highly skilled and in-demand specialists for the agro-industrial complex, a process impossible without modern digital equipment and collaboration with industrial partners.
