The best managers of the domestic agro-industrial complex were chosen by the participants of the rating "Salt of the Earth. Top managers of the agro-industrial complex-2023". The initiator of the project is the Russian Agricultural Bank.

In 2023, for the first time in Russia, a specialized industry rating of the best managers of the agro-industrial complex (AIC) "Salt of the Earth. Top managers of the agro-industrial complex-2023". In total, almost 600 companies participated in the rating. The basic principle of forming the rating "Salt of the earth. Top managers of AIC-2023" is "the best choose the best".

The selection of the laureates took place in several stages: submission of applications, online voting, calculation of the integral assessment and, finally, the final one — publication of the results. For the first time, the most professional senior managers of Russian agricultural enterprises and industry leaders in seven functional areas have been identified: commerce and finance, personnel management, marketing and communications, logistics, as well as those who are directly responsible for the production of agricultural products — the main agronomists of enterprises. Special rating nominations are designed to assess the contribution to the development of farming, science and education.
