It was attended by young scientists (undergraduates and postgraduates) of Omsk State Agrarian University, bachelors in the field of Management, the teaching staff of the Faculty of Economics. The purpose of the seminar is to determine the vectors of scientific research of the teaching staff, graduate students, undergraduates of the Faculty of Economics, to discuss topical issues of sustainable rural development and economic entities in conditions of economic instability.

A research seminar is regularly held at the Faculty of Economics, which allows creating a discussion platform for discussing topical issues related to the sustainable development of agriculture, contributes to the formation of research skills among young researchers and the development of skills for scientific discussion and presentation of research results. The head of the research seminar is Inna A. Volkova, Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of Management and Marketing at Omsk State Agrarian University.
The result of the seminar was the identification of relevant research areas of the Faculty of Economics and the approbation of the results of scientific research.
