Results of the “No to Corruption!” Wall Newspaper Contest at the Faculty of Land Management

From December 10 to 16, the Faculty of Land Management held the “No to Corruption!” contest among first-year students, dedicated to International Anti-Corruption Day, which is observed on December 9.

The contest aims to cultivate legal literacy among the younger generation, prevent corrupt practices, promote moral and ethical values, draw attention to the existing problem, and raise awareness of legal responsibility for committing corruption-related offenses.

As part of the contest, students expressed their opposition to such crimes by depicting possible manifestations of corruption in various spheres.

The contest was evaluated by a committee:

•        Chair: Olga Nikolaevna Dolmatova, Dean of the Faculty of Land Management;

•        Members: L.N. Gilyova, Head of the Department of Land Management; A.S. Garagul, Acting Head of the Department of Geodesy and Remote Sensing; V.N. Shcherba, Associate Professor of the Department of Land Management; O.S. Evdokhina, Head of the Department of Philosophy, History, Economic Theory, and Law; K.V. Medanova, Associate Professor of the Department of Land Management, responsible for educational work at the Faculty of Land Management; Y.A. Kudryavtseva, Chair of the Student Council of the Faculty, student of group B-31ZIK.

  • Secretary: E.V. Demeneva, student of group B-32ZIK.

The results of the faculty wall newspaper contest “No to Corruption!” were as follows:

•        1st place: Group B-11GDZ (Curator: D.I. Karapysh, Assistant, Department of Geodesy and Remote Sensing)

•        2nd place: Group B-12ZIK (Curator: K.V. Medanova, Associate Professor, Department of Land Management)

•        2nd place: Group C-11PG (Curator: R.P. Gorbulin, Senior Lecturer, Department of Geodesy and Remote Sensing)

•        3rd place: Group B-11ZIK (Curator: T.V. Nozhenko, Associate Professor, Department of Land Management)

•        3rd place: Group B-13ZIK (Curator: I.S. Ryzhova, Assistant, Department of Land Management)

Olga Nikolaevna Dolmatova, Dean of the Faculty of Land Management, and Olga Semenovna Evdokhina, Head of the Department of Philosophy, History, Economic Theory, and Law, emphasized the importance of conducting such contests to form an anti-corruption worldview among students, raise awareness of criminal liability for corruption, and provide practical experience in applying Russian legislation regulating anti-corruption measures.

We thank the winners of the faculty wall newspaper contest “No to Corruption!” for their creativity and the practical significance of their work.
