Scientists of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine made presentations at the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Antibiotics in Veterinary Medicine"

On October 30, the Altai State Agrarian University hosted the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Antibiotics in Veterinary Medicine" with the support of the Department of Veterinary Medicine of the Altai Territory.

It was attended by leading and young scientists from educational and scientific organizations, as well as practitioners. The event was opened by Nikolai Anatolyevich Kolpakov, Rector of the Altai State Agrarian University, and the head of the Department of Veterinary Medicine of the Altai Territory Samodurov Vladimir Vladimirovich. The participants of the event were also greeted by Larisa Vyacheslavovna Medvedeva, the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Altai State Agrarian University, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Associate Professor and Svetlana Vladimirovna Chernigova, Director of the Institute of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology, Omsk State Agrarian University, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor.

Omsk State Agrarian University was represented by the staff of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine: Honored Veterinarian of the Russian Federation, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor of the Department of Veterinary Microbiology, Infectious and Invasive Diseases Pleshakova Valentina Ivanovna and Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Diagnostics, Internal Non-infectious Diseases, Pharmacology, Surgery and Obstetrics Boyko Tatiana Vladimirovna.

Pleshakova V.I. made a presentation "Characteristics of the enteromicrobiota of wild and farm animals as a natural reservoir of antibiotic-resistant strains of microorganisms", prepared as part of a study with the support of the Russian Science Foundation (Grant of the Russian Science Foundation No. 23-26-00118 dated 13/01/2023). 

T.V. Boyko presented a report on the topic "The experience of creating phytobiotics for dairy farming". The scientific reports of our scientists aroused great interest and lively discussion. In a discussion format, the reports of our scientists were highly appreciated by both the scientific community and representatives of the professional environment.
