Students of the faculty took part in the competition of professional skills "Expert of water resources"

On March 22, the first stage of the III contest of professional skills "Expert of Water Resources" was held at the Department of Environmental Management, Water Use and Protection of Water Resources, dedicated to the memorial day of Alexander Ivanovich Kuzmin, Honored Meliorator of the Russian Federation, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Environmental Management, Water Use and Protection of Water Resources and World Water Day.

Students of the II, III and IV years of bachelor's degree, as well as the I year of master's degree of our university in the areas of preparation 20.03.02, 20.04.02 Environmental Management and water use and 03/35.11, 04/35/10 Hydro-reclamation took an active part in the competition. A total of 30 students took part in the first stage of the competition. All the participants who submitted applications have passed the first stage of the competition, as a result of which the winners in the individual competition will be revealed. The participants with the highest number of points will take part in the second stage of the competition, where they need to present their scientific developments in the field of water resources use and protection. The results of the first stage will be announced on April 5 at the final stage of the Water Resources Expert professional skills competition and awarded diplomas of I, II and III degrees.

The invited experts included in the composition of the competition commission Natalia B. Popova, Doctor of Geographical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Transport Economics of the Siberian State University of Railway Engineering, Novosibirsk, Sergey V. Polev, leading specialist of the Federal State Budgetary Institution «Tyumenregionvodkhoz» branch, Svetlana V. Volinkina, process engineer of the workshop for the operation of water supply networks and structures of the Production Directorate of JSC «OmskVodokanal». The competition committee also included representatives of the Faculty of Agrochemistry, Soil Sciences, Ecology, Environmental Engineering and Water Resources Exploitation: Dean of the Faculty Natalia V. Goman, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor, Head of the Department of Environmental Management, Water Use and Protection of Water Resources Yulia V. Korchevskaya, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor,  Zhanbolat A. Tusupbekov, Associate Professor of the Department of Environmental Management of Omsk State Agrarian University, Candidate of Geographical Sciences, Associate Professor, Natalia L. Ryapolova, Associate Professor of the Department of Environmental Management, Water Use and Water Resources Protection, associate professor and senior lecturer of the Department of Environmental Management of Omsk State Agrarian University Victoria S. Nadtochiy.

It should be noted that all our participants adequately passed the first stage of the «Water Resources Expert professional skills competition». We sincerely congratulate the participants and wish them further success. We wish victory to the winners of stage I who advanced to stage II!
