Students of the faculty visited the laboratory analysis and technical measurements center in the Siberian Federal District

On November 13, group B-42EKL of the "Ecology and Environmental Management" program and Associate Professor of the Department of Agrochemistry and Soil Science, O.D. Shoikin, visited the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Center for Laboratory Analysis and Technical Measurements" in the Siberian Federal District as part of the "Environmental Certification" course.

The Federal State Budgetary Institution "Center for Laboratory Analysis and Technical Measurements" in the Siberian Federal District is an accredited testing laboratory that conducts tests (analyses) of water, air, soil, and industrial waste.

The tour of the laboratories was conducted by Marina Aleksandrovna Gaikalova, Deputy Head of the Laboratory Analysis Department, Galina Alekseevna Puchkova, Deputy Head of the Laboratory Analysis Department, and Aleksey Viktorovich Lizyukov, Head of the Sampling and Instrumental Control of Pollution Sources Department. 

During the tour, the students became acquainted with the specifics of the organization, the availability of modern chemical equipment, methods of working with chromatographs, and the specifics of working with spectrophotometers, which allow the determination of up to 17 elements in a single sample. They visited the laboratory hall and the research department for study objects. 

During the tour, the students were interested in the working conditions in the organization, the time spent on business trips, the specifics of working with technical instruments, and the salary.
