Practical training plays a crucial role in the professional development of any specialist, and this profession is no exception. In addition to theoretical classes, students take part in practical sessions where they acquire skills in the installation and repair of sanitary equipment and systems.
During the study of the module “Malfunctions in Sanitary Systems and Their Elimination,” students learned to identify the causes of technical failures in sanitary systems and methods of resolving them. In practical classes, they gained hands-on experience in troubleshooting such issues as faucet head repair, replacement of seals and cartridges in mixers, and valve repair.
Within the discipline “Materials Science,” students studied in detail the physical properties of metals, including density, melting point, heat and electrical conductivity, expansion during heating, and magnetization.
As part of the course “Introduction to Professional Activity,” students were introduced to workplace conditions that foster effective teamwork on industrial sites, as well as to the rights and responsibilities of members of a labor collective and youth employment policies. In the discipline “Operation of Sanitary Systems,” they learned about the main tasks of operating organizations in ensuring safe and reliable functioning of all components of engineering systems.
Practical sessions have proven to be especially engaging and informative, with students attending them enthusiastically, recognizing their value not only for their future professional careers but also for everyday life.
