The faculty held a breakout meeting of the XIII International Scientific and Practical Conference "Siberian Village: 70 years since the beginning of the development of virgin and fallow lands in Russia"

The conference was held on June 6. Its goal is to attract a wider range of talented young people to scientific research in the field of agricultural sciences, to intensify the work of student scientific communities.

Section №7 was dedicated to modern trends in the development of mechanization, technical service and digitalization of the agro-industrial complex. A welcoming speech was made by G.V. Redreev (a head of the Technical Service, Mechanics and Electrical Engineering department, doctor of Technical Sciences, associate professor) and wished fruitful work to the participants.

Participants of the event: teachers of the faculty of Technical Service in the Agro-Industrial complex (Omsk State Technical University), St. Petersburg State Agrarian University (St. Petersburg), Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K. A. Timiryazev (Moscow), Belarusian Agricultural Academy (Gorki, Belarus), Jacto Company (Belarus), Irkutsk State Agrarian University named after A. A. Ezhevsky (Irkutsk), Omsk Agrarian Scientific Center (Omsk), Zapolyarny State University named after N. M. Fedorovsky (Norilsk), Smolensk State Agricultural Academy (Smolensk).

As part of the section, reports were heard from participants who were in different cities of the Russian Federation, as well as from participants of Belarus. Particular attention was paid to speakers from Norilsk with topics on neural networks and their application in various sectors of folk production. Experience has been gained in the use of neural networks and the application of digital technologies in the field of agriculture. Ways of further cooperation in joint projects on the use of neural networks in the agro-industrial complex are outlined.
