This is the first regional project for the development of scientific tourism and the popularization of science. The project implements new methods and formats for broadcasting advanced agricultural experience, innovations and achievements that have not been used before in the Omsk region.
The meeting began with a plenary session, which was attended by: Bari Galimovich Khairov, Deputy Minister of Industry and Scientific and Technical Development of the Omsk region, Andrey Ivanovich Zabudsky, Vice–rector for Social Work and Youth Policy, Natalia Vladimirovna Gavrilova, Director of the Institute of Additional Professional Education, mentor of the project.
No less than 200 young people who are not indifferent to the history of their educational space, the history of innovation and technology in their region have demonstrated their active position. The festival was also attended by professional educational organizations, members of the Association of Agricultural Education – Professional Education Unit of Omsk Agrarian and Technological College, Professional Education Unit of Isilkul Vocational Pedagogical College, Professional Education Unit of Omsk Agrarian and Technological College.
The project, developed by university students, is consistent with the priority directions of development of our region, the concept of development of popular science tourism in the Russian Federation for the period up to 2035, the concept of socio-economic development of the Omsk region until 2030, in which the inclusion of young citizens in innovative and scientific activities is one of the main priorities for the development of youth policy in the region, with the goals and objectives of various federal programs and tasks defined by the President of the Russian Federation. Thanks to the initiative of the ambassadors of agricultural science, the university has launched scientific and tourist routes through laboratories and research centers for young people, residents and guests of the region. As part of the project, the festival aims to share scientific and practical experience by popularizing scientific facts and broadcasting opportunities for professional development in the scientific field.
Within the framework of the festival, work was organized on 6 tracks – "Media Ecosystem", "Provisions. Climate. Future", "Economics and Finance", "Geotechnology", "Vetboyard" and "Zoo World". The students cooked porridge "from an axe" and found out what the value of spelt is, someone got acquainted with the media ecosystem and the features of a personal brand as the basis for promoting their achievements, and someone learned about skeletons in the closet and about the economy of the future.
The festival is science in colors, science without difficulties and closed doors. Simply. Concisely. Understandable.
We invite everyone to join the team of ambassadors of agricultural science, which preserves the attractiveness and image of the region, including as an agricultural scientific center and reveals the unique potential of its settlements.
The project is being implemented with the grant support of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs /Rosmolodezh
