The teacher of the Agrotechnological Faculty was awarded for the best report at the III International Youth Conference "Genetic and Radiation Technologies in Agriculture"

On October 23-24, the III International Youth Conference "Genetic and Radiation Technologies in Agriculture" was held at the Russian Institute of Radiology and Agroecology of National Research Centre «Kurchatov Institute».

Omsk State Agrarian University represented Olga Andreevna Kotsyubinskaya, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Senior lecturer at the Agrotechnological Faculty. She delivered a report on the topic "The influence of gamma irradiation of seeds on the morphometric parameters of common bean plants" in the section "Radiation technologies in agriculture".

The scientific work is carried out within the framework of a grant from JSC Rosselkhozbank (Russian Agricultural Bank). Scientific supervisor: Kazydub Nina Grigorievna, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor of the Department of Horticulture, Forestry and Plant Protection.

Olga Andreevna took part in the plenary session, in the work of the sections, in the presentation of the company "Fenomica" - the company conducts plant phenotyping, and also visited the laboratories of radiation and genetic technologies, molecular and cellular foundations of agricultural radiobiology.

At the end of the event Olga Andreevna was awarded for the best report at the section, presented with a diploma and a memorable gift.
