Training in Entrepreneurial Competencies "Entrepreneur's Tools"

On November 14, a training on entrepreneurial competencies titled "Entrepreneur's Tools" by LLC "TEN Education" was held at the Center for Youth Initiatives.

More than 60 students from Omsk State Agrarian University, the Tara branch of Omsk State Agrarian University, and Omsk State Pedagogical University participated.

For several hours, six teams explored who a technology entrepreneur is and how to distinguish them from representatives of other types of entrepreneurship. They became acquainted with the mindset and working mode of technology entrepreneurs on a business idea and also attempted to apply the acquired knowledge in practice in a game format.

The training participants learned why a technology startup is more promising than a traditional business, why startups do not survive, how to reduce the risks of failure, test an idea with minimal resource involvement, and bring an innovative product to market. Part of the training was dedicated to developing a project presentation for potential investors, preparing and acquiring the skills to talk about one's ideas, structuring presentations, and not being afraid of difficult questions.

The training is aimed at unlocking the entrepreneurial potential of participants: forming basic knowledge from leading experts and gaining experience in technological entrepreneurship, assessing their skills and opportunities for developing their own business projects. Participation in the training provides students with experience in communication and interaction, immerses them in the entrepreneurial environment, allows them to make mistakes in searching for directions in technological entrepreneurship, and develops public speaking skills.

The training sessions are conducted as part of the federal project "University Technological Entrepreneurship Platform," which is designed to unlock entrepreneurial potential.
