Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation program (ITEC)

The Embassy of India in Russia organizes short-term courses for Russian citizens at leading Indian educational institutions in the following areas: rural development, small and medium-sized business development, English language, mass communications, educational planning and management, education and research, environment and renewable energy, accounting, audit, banking, etc.

Russian citizens at the age of 25-45 years can apply for these courses. Good knowledge of English is necessary. Employees of Federal and regional government agencies and private companies are preferable candidates to receive funding.

The Government of India covers the following expenses:

• Visa fees.
• Transport expenses (flight from Moscow to the place in India where the courses are held, and flight back to Russia). 
• Living expenses (free housing is provided).
• Monthly scholarship of 25 000 Indian rupee.
• Free training in the chosen field of study.
