Omsk SAU ranking performance
THE Impact Rankings, measuring universities’ contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. In THE Impact Rankings 2024 edition Omsk SAU was assessed in:
SDG-1 «No poverty» (601-800),
SDG-2 «Zero hunger» (301-400),
SDG-3 «Good health and wellbeing» (1001+),
SDG-17 «Partnership for the goals» (1001-1500).
Since the first submission of data to THE Impact Rankings, Omsk State Agrarian University has maintained high performance on SDG-2, thus proving its leading positions in ensuring food security.
Green Metric is an Indonesian ranking that analyzes how universities make their campuses environmentally-friendly. The ranking focuses primarily on ecological issues. In 2024, despite annually growing competition, Omsk SAU improved its position compared to the Green Metric-2023 edition by 62 places in the overall rankings. In the world list Omsk SAU took 553rd place among about 1500 universities ranked and is on the 14th place among Russian Universities, demonstrating its environmental friendliness and commitment to Sustainable Development Goals.
In 2024, Omsk State Agrarian University improved its positions in the Round University Rankings, taking 1045th place in the world university ranking (in 2023 it was only in the 1167th place). Omsk SAU still takes 110th place among Russian Universities even though the number of Russian universities participated in the RUR2024 increased comparing to the previous year.

Life Sciences – 785th place in the World and 55th place in Russia
Natural Sciences – 870th place in the World and 78th place in Russia
Technical Sciences – 923rd place in the World and 86th place in Russia
Social Sciences – 657th place in the World and 32nd place in Russia
In 2024 Omsk SAU was included into THE Interdisciplinary Science Rankings for the first time and received the "Reporter" status.

In the UniRank, Omsk State Agrarian University ranks 6073rd in the world among more than 13000 participating universities and 223rd among 371 universities in Russia.
According to Webometrics, Omsk State Agrarian University ranks 6388th out of more than 11000 universities in the world and 186th among 991 universities in Russia.
