"The Sciences sustain young minds," M.V. Lomonosov

We are glad to announce a new scientific media project at Omsk State Agrarian University! It is dedicated to smart young scientists, who are still ready to learn and absorb more knowledge to develop science.

Why is it cool to do science today? Is it possible to build a career doing science? What discoveries will be made in the near future? We asked these and other questions to the heroes of our new project "Come on, youth!" 

Young people who are now successfully studying and working at university labs and departments were caught on our cameras. What are they like? Purposeful, energetic, sometimes even obsessed with new ideas, they are in constant search for new information. Future of our university and future of Russian science is in their hands. 

Who are they? We talked to young scientists of Omsk State Agrarian University. We will introduce each of them separately. So let's get started! Here is our first participant.

Ekaterina Andreevna Zharikova

Assistant of the Department of Diagnostics, Internal Non-communicable Diseases, Pharmacology, Surgery and Obstetrics of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of Omsk State Agrarian University.

You will learn who is the ideal of a scientist for Ekaterina, what is the scope of her scientific research and how the heroine of the project spends her free time.

Postgraduate student of the Department of Ecology, Natural Resource Management and Biology of the Faculty of Agrochemistry, Soil Science, Ecology, Environmental Engineering and Water Use.

You will learn how the heroine of the project successfully combined economist's and ecologists's diplomas to choose the sphere of her scientific interests - natural capital, as well as which fiction movies may inspire you to do science.

Doctor of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Food Products and Food Biotechnology of the Agrotechnological Faculty.
