Crop yield: the maximum yield of 5.57 tons per hectare was obtained at the Sherbakulsky seed-testing center in 2015. It is 2.7 tons per hectare more than "Serebristaya" wheat can give.  In 2015-2017, the crop yield in the southern forest steppe conditions reached 4.5-5.8 t / ha.

Var.: erythrospermum.

The growing season: middle-late.

Drought and disease resistance: the variety is resistant to drought, and it has resistance to brown and stem rust, powdery mildew and ustilago tritici.

Adaptability: Resistant to lodging, shedding and sprouting of grain on the root and during swathing.

Grain quality: high protein content (more than 14%) and high content of gluten (25-28% or more).

Responsiveness to fertilizers: With polynutrient fertilization, the crop yield increases to 0.9 t / ha, the quality of grain is also better.

Useful genes identified by DNA markers: Lr 35 -resistance to stem rust.

Agricultural zoning: the variety was included in the State Register in 2017 after 2 years of testing, and it was accepted as a standard at the Omsk region seed-testing centers. It is recommended for cultivation in the steppe and forest steppe zones of the Western Siberia.

Fertile intensive-type variety of the intensive type with a consistently high quality of grain

Crop yield: the maximum yield of 4.7 t / ha was obtained in 2014 during an environmental experiment. When being tested in severe drought conditions, the variety demonstrated a crop yield of 3.65 t / ha.

The growing season: mid-season.

Var.: erythrospermum. High drought tolerance.
Resistant to lodging.

Resistance to diseases: the variety is highly resistant to brown rust.

Grain quality: the variety is considered a strong wheat.

Adaptive high-yielding variety of spring soft wheat created for Western Siberia conditions

Crop yield: the maximum yield is 6.0 t / ha. The average yield reached during the environmental test was 2.7-3.2 t / ha.

The growing season: middle-late.

Var.: lutescens with high drought tolerance.

Adaptability: the variety is resistant to lodging, shedding and sprouting of grain.
Grain quality meets the requirements for valuable wheat.

Resistance to disease: high resistance to brown rust and Ustilago tritici.

Agricultural zoning: the variety was included in the State Register in 2017.  It is recommended for cultivation in the steppe and forest steppe zones of the Western Siberia.

Spring soft wheat variety "OmGAU 100"

omgau-100.jpg

The variety was created as part of the Federal program "Creation of high-yielding varieties of grain crops resistant to biotic and abiotic factors in the southern forest steppe of Western Siberia". The patent is issued to the Omsk State Agrarian University.

The variety is a high-yielding one. The maximum crop yield in the steppe zone was 4.46 t / ha. (measured at JSC "Niva" of Pavlograd district in 2016). The average crop yield measured the years of competitive variety trial was 3.8 t / ha.

Growing season:  middle-late

Var.: erythrospermum.

Adaptability: the variety is resistant to lodging, shedding and sprouting of grain on roots. High drought tolerance.

Grain quality meets the requirements for valuable and strong wheat.

Resistance to diseases: the variety is resistant to brown rust (useful genes identified by DNA markers: Lr 10, Lr 26,), stem rust and Ustilago tritici.

Spring soft wheat variety "Stolypinskaya-2"

stolypinskaya-2.jpg

The variety was created as part of the Federal program: "Biotechnological assessment of wheat synthetics with wild grasses and identification of sources of resistance to diseases and drought, high productivity and quality of grain as an alternative to GMOs" The patent is issued to the Omsk State Agrarian University.

The "Stolypinskaya-2" spring soft wheat variety was created by single-plant breeding from a hybrid population of GLE/3/KA/NAC/2/TRCH/4/OMSKAYA 37 ( CIMMYT material for shuttle breeding was used).

Crop yield: The maximum yield measured by Omsk SAU in 2017 was 5.1 t / ha. The average figures reached in primary seed nurseries was 3.8 t / ha.

Growing season: middle-early.

Var.: lutescens

Adaptability: the variety is resistant to lodging, shedding and sprouting of grain on roots.

Grain quality meets the requirements for valuable and strong wheat.

Resistance to diseases: the variety is resistant to brown rust (gene LR 34 is identified by DNA markers), stem rust and Ustilago tritici.

The variety was transferred to the state seed-trial center in 2016.It is recommended for cultivation in the forest steppe and steppe zones of Western Siberia, Northern forest steppe zones, and the Southern Urals.

Middle-early variety of spring soft wheat "Kasibovskaya"

kasibovskaya.jpg

The variety was created when implementing Russian Science Foundation grant "Phenotyping and genotyping of synthetic hexaploid wheat lines (T. durum x Ae. squarrosa) and identification of useful traits by associated labeling to increase resistance to abiotic and biotic stress in Russia".

The Kasibovskaya variety was created at Omsk State Agrarian University as part of the international KASIB program and the CIMMYT shuttle program, using genetic material from Aegilops squarrosa.

Crop yield: the variety is a high-yielding one. The maximum yield was recorded in 2016 - 4.36 t / ha. The average yield obtained during the competition test was 3.62 t / ha. In the steppe zone of the Omsk region, the maximum crop yield of the Kasibovskaya variety was 3.17 t / ha.

Grain quality meets the requirements for valuable wheat.

Growing season: middle-early.

Var.: albidum.

Adaptability: the variety is resistant to lodging, shedding and sprouting of grain on roots. High drought tolerance is guaranteed due to Aegilops Squarrosa genes.

Resistance to diseases: the genetic material from wild grasses gives resistance to brown rust (LR 34 gene is identified by DNA markers) and stem rust; high resistance to Septoria.

Responsiveness to fertilizers: when optimizing mineral nutrition, the crop yield increases by 0.83 t / ha, and the grain quality also improves.
