Presentation of the new course of the Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module at Omsk State Agrarian University

On November 6, the Faculty of Economics presented the course "European practice of developing digital financial services in rural areas: knowledge and inclusion", which is implemented within the framework of the Jean Monnet Module grant (module coordinators O. A. Blinov, D. R. Baetova).

The Jean Monnet Module is aimed at developing the involvement of the population and businesses in financial relations in the context of digitalization of financial services based on the study of European experience. The main component of the grant Jean Monnet Module is the development and implementation of an educational course for university students and other target audiences.

The main concept of the course was presented at the meeting with students of 38.03.01 Economics and 38.03.02 Management. The presentation was attended by O. A. Kozlova, Head of the International Relations Department; Ya. Ya. Leven, Coordinator of International Relations department; O. A. Blinov, Head of the Department of Economics, Accounting and Financial Control and D. R. Baetova, Associate Professor of Department of Economics, Accounting and Financial Control.

Doctor of Economics, Professor O. A. Kozlova told the students about the areas of Erasmus+ programs that students can participate in. Special emphasis was placed on the program Jean Monnet, which supports the development of Networks, Projects, Associations, teaching and research activities.

D. R. Baetova and O. A. Blinov, as module coordinators, presented the training course "European practice of digital financial services development in rural areas: knowledge and inclusion". The course contains topics on European practice in the field of digitalization of agriculture, regulation of digital finance, digital banking, customer risks in digital finance, as well as European experience in financial management of small and medium-sized businesses in the context of digitalization of the financial sector.
