Seminar on the experience of implementing international Jean Monnet projects in Omsk State Agrarian University

Omsk SAU teachers are actively preparing applications for international grants. Ph.D. for Economic Sciences, Yulia Fomina, a Jean Monnet coordinator from Omsk State University, was invited to share her experience in implementing a Jean Monnet Module “Social Entrepreneurship: the European Union Experience and Practices / SEEUNI” (2018-2021).

The Jean Monnet program is aimed at increasing knowledge about European integration processes through teaching, research, and debate on topics related to the history, politics, economy, and legislation of the European Union, as well as the EU's relations with other regions of the world. The main goal of the program is to bring European practices to higher education systems.

In the seminar, teachers learned about the peculiarities of the EU social entrepreneurship development. The participants of the seminar actively asked Yulia Fomina about her experience. It will allow them to adjust the subject and content of applications in the future.

The head of the International Relations Department, Oksana Kozlova, once again outlined the main requirements for the preparation of these applications and the schedule for their preparation at the University.
