Three projects of Omsk SAU are supported by the Russian Science Foundation

The Russian Science Foundation summed up the results of regional grant competitions. Omsk State Agrarian University submitted 8 applications, and the Foundation's experts experts selected 3 of them.

The following project was supported in the competition of scientific groups:

"Phenotyping and genotyping of winter wheat cultivars and lines according to winter hardiness, plant productivity characteristics, grain quality, resistance to diseases and drought, identification of sources and creation of source material for breeding in Western Siberia." Head of the project—Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Professor of the Department of Agronomy, Breeding and Seed Production, Inna Vladimirovna Pototskaya. The project implementation period—3 years, the total amount of financing—21 million rubles (7 million rubles per year).

Two projects were supported in the competition of small scientific groups:

1. "New biotechnologies for obtaining specialized dairy products with increased nutritional value and storage stability for remote areas of the Omsk region and regions with a lack of natural dairy raw materials." Head of the project—Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor of the Department of Veterinary and Sanitary Examination of Animal Products and Hygiene of Farm Animals, Irina Aleksandrovna Ivkova. The project implementation period—2 years, the total amount of financing—3 million rubles (1.5 million rubles per year).

2. "Fundamental studies of the structure and properties of nanomaterial and its biotechnological aspects of production in the proposed bioreactor". Head of the project—senior researcher of the Research Department, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Food and Food Biotechnology, Natalia Anatolyevna Pogorelova. The project implementation period—2 years, the total amount of financing—3 million rubles (1.5 million rubles per year).
