Volunteer meetings with the rural population are aimed at transferring knowledge about digital financial services to help rural population acquire the necessary set of knowledge and skills to actively use digital financial services, without going to the city.

Volunteer meetings were held on the basis of the MBEI Kormilovsky Lyceum, MBEI Kormilovskaya Secondary School No. 1 and to the administration of the Kormilovsky district. In the educational organizations of the Kormilovsky district, both young people aged 17-18 and teachers attended the meetings. Rural teachers are often the authority in the village, whose opinion is listened to by all residents of rural areas. Oleg Gerasimenko, a 3rd-year student in Economics has took part in the organization and conduct of meetings. Previously he attended the course "European practice of developing digital financial services is rural areas: knowledge and inclusion".

During the meeting with the population, the focus was on the possibility of using digital financial services in the online format, without going to the city and/or to the district center to improve the quality of life of the rural population. It should be noted that in comparison with some districts of the Omsk region, the Kormilovsky municipal district has a quite stable Internet coverage.

The project is implemented with the financial support of the European Comission as part of the Jean Monnet Module 620032-EPP-1-2020-1-RU-EPPJMO-MODULE "European practice of developing digital financial services is rural areas: knowledge and inclusion".
