The Faculty of Land Management consists of two departments:

  • the Department of Geodesy and Remote Sensing (Head – A. S. Garagul, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor);
  • Department of Land Management (Head – M. N. Veselova, Candidate of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor).

Just as other Omsk SAU faculties, the Faculty of Land Management organizes thematic clubs for schoolchildren:

"Geodesy for schoolchildren" Target audience – pupils of 8-11 form of secondary schools.The head of the club – N.A. Parkhomenko, na.parhomenko@omgau.org

There is a workshop for the repair of geodetic devices; and all the departments are equipped with computers.
The faculty has modern geodetic and photogrammetric devices, laboratory equipment, and computer equipment classes. 

The Faculty of Land Management is a leading regional educational and methodological center in the Siberian administrative district of Russia. It cooperates with similar faculties at other Universities. 

Specialists who are familiar with legal aspects and modern methods in the field of geodesy, land management and cadastre are involved in the educational process. 

To independently assess the quality of graduates, State Attestation Commission includes practitioners of a related industry:

  • L. L Gorelysheva – Head of the Department of Property Accounting and Land Relations of the Ministry of Property Relations of the Omsk region;
  • O.V. Denisova – Head of the Department of Architecture, Construction and Land Use of the administration of the Soviet administrative district of Omsk;
  • E. A. Dingis – Head of the State Land Supervision Department of the Federal Agency for State Registration, Cadastre, and Cartography for the Omsk region;
  • V. N. Ivanov – Deputy Director of the branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Federal Cadastral Chamber of Federal Agency for State Registration, Cadastre, and Cartography for the Omsk region for the Omsk region";
  • E. Yu. Kochergin – Head of the Department of Land Management and Land Monitoring, Cadastral Valuation of Real Estate, Geodesy and Cartography of the Federal Agency for State Registration, Cadastre, and Cartography for the Omsk region;
  • A.D Lungan – Deputy General Director, chief engineer of JSC "OmskTISIZ";
  • E.N. Malyshev – Director of LLC SPC "Sibzemresursy", Candidate of Econ. Sciences;
  • V. M Sozontov – Deputy head of Directorate of Federal Agency for State Registration, Cadastre, and Cartography for the Omsk region.

Graduates of the faculty are in demand on the labor market. They  successfully work in different organizations, real estate firms, in the structures of Federal Agency for State Registration, Cadastre, and Cartography. Some of them work abroad.

Organizations appreciate the quality of training of graduates of the Faculty of Land Management.
