The activities of DAAD are aimed at internationalizing German universities in order to attract foreign students and scientists to do studies and research in Germany. DAAD scholarships partially or completely cover participants' expenses. They are offered to undergraduates, graduates, postgraduates, and academic staff.

DAAD opportunities for German students

Omsk SAU can organize summer and winter schools for German citizens who want to take a short course of study in Russia. It's also a great chance to know more about Russian culture, as a typical summer or winter school includes both classes and cultural events such as trips to museums and historical sites. Participation in Go East summer and winter schools is sponsored by Germany. Omsk State Agrarian University provides accommodation in comfortable dormitories on the campus. The participant will have to pay a participation fee.

Go East summer and winter schools last from 2 to 3 weeks. The participant must know English at an intermediate level. Knowledge of Russian is optional, but Russian language skills are desirable if you want to get acquainted with Russia better and communicate with all Omsk SAU students. You can find detailed information about upcoming, ongoing and finished summer and winter schools on Omsk SAU website in the International section. Also, follow the updates on the official German website of the Go East program.
