Moving around

Carry your passport, student card and this memo when moving around the city and campus. Ask law enforcement officers for help or call the International Relations Department if needed. Omsk is a big city and you can easily get lost, especially in the beginning.

Public transport

Omsk SAU is located in a picturesque area. The closest bus stop is “Teletsentr”. Bus/trolleybus fare: 45 RUB. Collective taxi: 45 RUB. Regular taxi cost depends on distance.

The nearest food stores are located on the Omsk SAU campus. There you can buy manufactured goods too. There are many shops and department stores in the city centre.

You can exchange currency or open a bank account at any branch. Compare exchange rates and account terms. Do not keep large amounts of cash in the dormitory.

Medical service

Medical service is provided under voluntary medical insurance (paid). Nearest polyclinics: 7a Sibakovskaya St.; 3 Karla Libknehta St. Dental services are available in specialized clinics across the city.

In emergencies, dial 03 (free call). Please inform the International Relations Department.
